Sugar Sugar CRASH! Sugar Sugar Sugar CRASH!

The morning started out around 6:45 with some baskets that looked like this... And the Easter Bunny hid them somewhere like this
The kids had fun trying to find them hidden away in the shower. Eden went straight to the cupboard her basket was hidden in last year and noticed that the bunny hadn't left prints everywhere this year like he had last year. And somehow, while Jonathon had been searching for baskets with the kids outside...little purple paw prints appeared on our shower door. ;-)

Well, the morning continued something like this...

Our eyes were just about as puffy as the peeps we were all enjoying
Tex kept getting something stuck in his teeth. I'm not sure what it was, but I found his like this several times.

The kids were having fun running around, filling up on sugar, drawing with their Easter pens, and dancing with their balloons while mom worked hard on a delicious Easter breakfast filled with clown, elephant, and lion shaped waffles, eggs, fresh whipped cream and berries.
Dad had fun showing the kids how to throw a bunny in a parachuteAnd we were all having fun with smiles to spare....until.........

We were finally able to revive their spirits once we got some real food running through their systems.

We made it to church about an hour late, because we didn't want to wake our youngest sugar crashed monster...but we sure looked cute when we got out the door! ;-)

The kids had fun playing on the banister after church...a weekly post church favorite.

And we made it home just in time for another sugary crash thanks to all the yummy treats the kids devoured in their classes.

We had a fun Easter Egg hunt with our neighbor. We were wanting to get together with everyone who lives by us...but they were the only ones home. Lucky for Tex, it happened to be his girly friend. ;-)

Though...she was definitely not impressed with his gum chewing skills.
Ya might want to work on that buddy.

Going under Lock & Key

The thought has been haunting me for a I just am going to do it.

I'm going private. I've been thinking about it for a while, and I just feel like it's the responsible thing to do. And then my mind will be at ease.

So, if you would like an invite to my blog just leave your email in a comment....or send it to me through facebook, or email it.

Or, I can just email you a copy of my blog each time I update it. (Don't worry Mom P and Mom W, you will still get your emails without interruption.)

Sorry for the inconvenience. I know it's kind of a pain, and I've enjoyed using my blog as a means to keep in touch with friends and family....but I just keep thinking this is something I need to do.
So. If you want to keep posted...drop me a line with your email.

Thanks guys!

Searching Searching Searching

If you ask my husband...he'd probably tell you that one of my more annoying qualities is the fact that I lose just about EVERYTHING.I blame it on the fact that I have to try and keep track of 2 kids all day, and pack around too much stuff for those 2 kids.

He made me bring a fanny pack on this long vacation...which honestly was extremely helpful for getting through the airport. And I even wore it when we went to DisneyLand and LegoLand...and I was very glad that I did.

But it's not very practical for the rest of the trip since I feel rediculous wearing a fanny pack around...and it's not very comfortable.

So, let's see here. What have I lost so far on this trip...

3 binkies (or paci-fiers if you will)

my american express

I think a few items of clothing such as socks

My wallet has been mis-placed a time or 2...but always recovered.
And I'm sure the list goes on...that's off the top of my head.

But the most annoying is...

MY CELL PHONE - it's been gone a few days...and I don't think it's coming back. :-(

So, if you call or text...I won't be answering. And it's nothing personal. ;-) I just can't keep track of basically anything. So, leave me a message with your number and I'll call you back. ;-)

Please pray for my friend and her son

I just recently found out about a friend of mine who's 8 week son is extremely ill in the hospital, literally fighting for his life, and he is in desperate need of prayers in his behalf. And I'm sure the family could use a few too.

The gist of their story can be found by clicking here

If you would like to follow the whole story and see how he is progressing click here

She has been faithfully updating her blog on his progress, as we are all waiting and praying for more good news.

Please remember Gavin, please.

Disney Land

A few photos to wet your whistle. We are having way to much fun spending time with family to devote too much time to blogging. We want to make the most of our time. But just know we are alive, having fun, freezing our tootsies off, having ice ball fights, eating lots of treats, sipping warm drinks, and relaxing.
